Colorado - October 2015

Two months ago, Chris and I ventured to Colorado to attend the wedding of one of Chris's good friends from high school. We had an absolute blast at the wedding and seeing the sights of Evergreen, Denver, Idaho Springs, Golden, Colorado Springs, and the surrounding area. Here's some pictures from our adventures.
This was the location of the picnic a day or two before the wedding. It's a local park near Bird's house.
This was on the drive up to Mt. Evans. One of Colorado's many "14-ers" (a mountain that is higher than 14,000 ft in elevation).
We also made a stop to see the Red Rock Amphitheater.
Waiting for the shuttle to the wedding.

The bride came out to the ceremony by canoe!
The wedding party all gave speeches and advice during the ceremony.
The reception (inside where the ceremony was).
The after party.
The next day (our 4th anniversary) Chris and I rode around on the Georgetown Railroad.

We also did a segway tour of the Garden of the Gods, which was awesome!

The next day, we visited the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

We even got to feed the giraffes!
From the mountains, we headed to the Downtown Aquarium for dinner.

We had so much fun in Colorado. It's a great place to visit and I'm sure it would be an amazing place to live. We met so many wonderful people while we were there and got to see and do so many beautiful, fun things. I would definitely love to visit Colorado again!

At the end of our trip, we hopped a plane to New Orleans for another wedding! But I'll post those pictures in the next one. 31 pictures is plenty for today!
